Roadwork?

So I got a ride to work today (yay! no metro!). I’m working late shift today in the office, which means I don’t have to be there till noon. For reference purposes, I live 10.8 miles from my office. What time did I leave to make it to the office on time?

But no. Between the 4 different construction projects I passed, I was only at work ten minutes early.

Yes, that means it took 40 minutes to go ten miles. Hooray for DC.
